What if your entire fortune became worthless waste paper overnight? Julian West, a nineteenth-century millionaire, awakens in the year 2000 to find the 'profit system' dead and his millions replaced by a 'Republic of the Golden Rule.' The world he knew has vanished in an economic suicide, making this a unique Post-Apocalyptic transition into a high-tech, socialist utopia.

In this visionary Science Fiction masterpiece, Julian undergoes a radical Coming of Age as he navigates a world without money, greed, or poverty. Guided by the brilliant Dr. Leete and the empathetic Edith, he discovers the National Industrial Army—a system where labor is a duty of honor and automation has finally liberated humanity from drudgery. This is an Action & Adventure of the intellect, where the stakes are the very survival of the human spirit.

From the clinical efficiency of the National Bank to the somber 'Ghost Tenements' of his past, Julian must confront the 'habitation of cruelty' that defined his era. Through a lens of Fantasy and social speculation, the narrative deconstructs the 'sacred right of property' as a system of human ownership. As Julian sheds his identity as a capitalist 'revenant,' he finds a new purpose—and a profound Science Fiction Romance—within a society that has achieved true Metaphysical harmony.

If you are a fan of the visionary world-building of Ursula K. Le Guin’s The Dispossessed or the philosophical depth of Thomas More’s Utopia, you will love Equality. Step into a future where the 'Dismal Science' of the past is merely a museum exhibit. Discover the blueprint for a world where equality isn't just a dream, but a lived reality.
