Ian Birt is an accountant and registered tax agent, with degrees in accounting and law. He has worked extensively in small business, and for an accounting firm specialising in small business clients.
Ian has taught small business planning, financial management and taxation for many years in the vocational training system, and has written several successful books covering all aspects of small business management.
Ian started out in his own small business over 35 years ago. He still operates it: doing it the right way, getting expert help when needed, and keeping it simple. He has also helped launch many successful micro-businesses.
