David A. Bedford

David A. Bedford was born in the USA, grew up in Argentina, where his two sisters were born, and married an Argentine. They have three children; the first American, and the two youngest Brazilian by birth. You should not wonder, then, at his varied career and the twist of fate that landed him (this sentence technically makes sense but it took me a second read to get it, for some reason in Spanish it flowed better!) (through no plan of his own) in the very city in which he was born, where he teaches Spanish, writing, and translation at Texas Christian University. Liliana and the Mirror was his first published fiction, written originally in Spanish and now appearing in a bilingual edition translated by the author himself.
