Huw Thomas

Huw Thomas is a journalist, broadcaster, author and presenter. As the BBC's Business Correspondent in Wales, Huw covers stories from the world of work and money for TV, radio, and online audiences in English and Welsh. He has made significant contributions to journalism, including his coverage of the Covid-19 pandemic and as the first arts and media correspondent for the BBC Cymru Wales.

Huw was born and brought up in Wales. In addition to his BA in English Literature, he earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Cardiff University. His academic background laid the foundation for his career in journalism and broadcasting.

Huw's career began at the BBC, where he has worked in various capacities. A business correspondent, he delivers insightful reports on economic issues affecting Wales.
