Elizabeth O'Roark

Elizabeth O’Roark is an American romance writer. She is best known as the author of Undertow and Bloom and The Devils series.

Elizabeth O’Roark is a former medical writer and therapist. After many years spent writing scintillating brochures about amniocentesis and heart surgery, she moved on to become a novelist. Elizabeth started as a self-publishing author.

Now, she crafts grumpy, alpha heroes and the flawed women who love them. She created her The Devils series after the show Lucifer. It is the story of Hayes, a world-weary Hollywood plastic surgeon, and Tali, his temporary assistant, filling in for her closest friend.

Tali wants nothing to do with the heavy-drinking, commitment-phobic Hayes, but she slowly comes to see an entirely different side of him and starts falling for him against her better judgment.

Elizabeth O'Roark lives in Washington, DC, with her three children.

He’s right and at the moment I don’t fucking care. He’s got everything else—free to do what he wants, no responsibility for the farm. He doesn’t get Olivia too.

Weirdly, he seemed more comfortable back when he thought I might be a murderer.

“You thought about me in the shower,” he says, mouth barely twitching. “Does that happen a lot?”
“Sometimes I wonder if my soap is strong enough to kill off the bacteria from your home. Is that the kind of thing you mean?”
