Saying that religion hinders morality is like saying philosophy hinders morality: we must evaluate each religious tradition and differentiate between them as we would between Marxism and Libertarianism.

This book is tremendous.

I highlighted so many things 😅 because it's just that damn good of a book.

The author is a brilliant writer but in some instances the book gets a bit boring but those situations are few and far between.

The over arching nature of the book is it asks and answers questions by bringing in perspectives you may have not had or information you were unaware of.

All in all, if have problems with Christianity this books allows you to fight with it and see maybe the Christianity you know isn't actually what you think it is.
