I'm mad as hell that my wife has to work in a place like the Roadside Pub, but it's mainly my fault that she has to work there. It's not that I'm not trying to earn the money we need, it's just that the failure of my employer and my rather specialized training has forced me to work as an independent consultant. The work that I'm trained for is hard to find and I have to build a reputation. I'm working as hard as I can and I'm building the reputation I need to make the big bucks, once again. However, it takes time, as well as effort to build what I need and the mortgage payment won't wait.
