    With the lack of immediate answers, a traumatized and stressed mind would inevitably start creating its own… and it would create an army of them. It didn’t matter if those answers sounded absurd or not. It didn’t matter if they sounded like a crazy fantasy or not. To a mind at the brink of breaking, they would all sound plausible because the desperate need for answers would overwhelm rational thinking, and as those answers started sounding like the real deal, the mind would initiate a new, very damaging, line of questioning – the ‘what ifs’ and ‘should haves’.
