This book explores the concept of the Mexican urban legend La Llorona, and her background story. It shows us what might happened in the past, and how the dead can still live among us, without making any fuss. Rather the dead can help us get through the tough times. In this story, Maria was betrayed by her husband, as he had an illicit affair with another woman. Not only that, he asked his employee's to get rid of her and her two sons. She could not save them or herself, and neither can she meet them in the afterlife. This book takes a slightly deviates here, from what we know about the legend.

Aritri Raha is a lover of anything horror/ thriller/ mystery and suspence, fiction or nonfiction.
