    If we isolate ourselves in our individual lives, saying we are not going to fall in love, get married, or form bonds with others because that creates more suffering, we may end up with another kind of suffering instead, the suffering of isolation. The difference is that isolation is a sterile suffering leading nowhere, while suffering that comes from empathizing with others is a path to Buddhahood.
