Anna Hackett is an Australian bestselling romance author passionate about fast-paced, emotion-filled romantic suspense and science-fiction romance. Some of her bestselling series include Norcross Security, Team 52, Galactic Gladiators, and Eon Warriors.
She studied in Brisbane and was an engineer by background. Before becoming a full-time author, she worked as a mining engineer worldwide with mining in the US and Canada, South America, Africa, and Australia.
"I loved being an engineer. I love numbers, and I love math and all of that. So, on the flip side, I was always a reader. I loved reading, and romance was my number one genre to read," Hackett says.
She began writing science fiction novels and then divided her time between sci-fi and romantic suspense. Now, Hackett is a USA Today bestselling author and recipient of several literary awards. She mostly writes action-adventure romances.
Her story Beneath a Trojan Moon tied for The Ella Award for a best-published novella in 2015.
Anna Hackett lives in Perth, Western Australia. She is the mother of two boys.
